Description : PW corrosion scale prevention is a liquid formulation ideally suited for corrosion and scale prevention in soft and low hardness water.
Uses : PW corrosion scale prevention has been for formulated for use in open recirculating cooling system used for process cooling in various industries.
PW corrosion scale prevention is compatible with both oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides.
Features : PW corrosion scale prevention has a synergistic combination of organic phosphate, slow reverting polyphosphate and inorganic corrosion inhibitors to make it exceptionally strong for both scale and corrosion prevention.
Applications : PW corrosion scale prevention has to be fed neat, through a suitable metering pump, into the cooling tower sump where rapid mixing and distribution is possible.
PW corrosion scale prevention is alkaline in nature, it should never be added to a storage tank containing an acidic product or precipitation will take place. In the case of transition from an acidic cooling water program to PW corrosion scale prevention program the bulk storage tanks must be flushed and cleaned properly before filling with the new product.
Typical Properties : Appearance : Colorless to yellow liquid PH : 7 ± 0.5 Solubility : Miscible with water
Benefits
PW corrosion scale prevention has the following unique advantages:
It contains both cathodic and anodic inhibitors thereby providing optimum corrosion protection under adverse conditions. This helps in increasing plant life and prolonging plant run length.
It contains strong organic phosphates which keep the heat transfer surfaces free from scaling and deposition thereby improving heat transfer efficiency and plant output.
Handling : Contact with eyes, skin and clothing should be strictly avoided. In case of contact wash the affected area with profuse amount of water and if irritation persists ask for medical attention. Use face shield and gloves while handling PW corrosion scale prevention.
Packaging : PW corrosion scale prevention is available in 30litre HDPE jerricans/barrels.
