Another problem of water is its hardness, about 62% of India from more then 100 PPM of Hardness.While the permissible limit according to WHO is 50 PPM. The hard water causes white scales on bathroom fittings appliances & piping. Water Softners uses common sodium salt to chemically remove harmful calcium & magnesium salt dissolved in the water.
